DESCRIPTION:Albany's Marine base has announced the installation's annual Independence Day celebration set for Friday\, June 26\, from 4-10 p.m.\n\n\n\nThe event will be free and open to the public.\n\n\n\nVisitors to the installation should not bring weapons of any kind\, alcohol\, coolers\, pets (with the exception of service dogs)\, or dress inappropriately. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome.\n\n\n\nDue to security concerns\, visitors will be subject to search. All guests are encouraged to arrive early for proper processing to gain base access\, and there will be free limited parking outside the main gate on Fleming Road. Handicapped parking will be available in the Human Resources parking lot adjacent to the main gate. Shuttle service will also be available for anyone with special needs.\n\n\n\nFood and beverage vendors will be on hand\, and there will be live music\, military working dog demonstrations and lots of other entertainment for both children and adults. The evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display
