SUMMARY:Practice Community Yoga Class with Africa Yoga Project
DESCRIPTION:Sol Power Yoga has been chosen to host two incredibly talented yoga instructors from Kenya from July 26th to July 29th in Albany\, GA as a stop on Africa Yoga Project's Headstands\, Happiness + Hugs Tour. These instructors will share stories with us about the transformative power of yoga as a form of outreach in their own communities\, where they are able to reach as many as 6\,000 people a week. They teach free classes in areas that otherwise would not have access to yoga\, such as slums and prisons.\n\nThe instructors will run one class at Sol Power Yoga\, an open yoga practice at the Tift Park Community Market\, an open community class at Pretoria Fields Collective\, and A Taste of Kenya fundraising dinner with Kenyan fare\, storytelling and silent auction. This is an opportunity for community building\, and learning across cultures.
