50th Anniversary Birthday Bash!

The Job Corps program is excited to celebrate its 50th Anniversary by hosting a City Wide Birthday Bash at the Turner Job Corps Center. The city of Albany is invited to attend this celebration followed by a Community Resource Fair and a Community Partner Luncheon. At the celebration, we will present our Job Corps Heroes award. Nominees include Chris Hardy (President of the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce), Mr. Kenneth Cutts (Regional Director for Congressman Sanford Bishop), Mrs. Pamela G. Jackson (?Community Plans & Liaison Officer at Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany), Constance Williams (Superintendent for Custodial Services), and Freddie Powell-Sims (Georgia State Senator).
