Grab your dancing shoes and come down to the train station for a step back in time for Thronateeska's Dance at the Depot on Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Dance Instructor Michelle Oaks, with over 20 years of experience in competitions and with teaching ballroom dances, will teach couples about the history of three styles of dance: the foxtrot, swing and waltz and then some basic moves for each style. The cost is $10+ tax for non-member couples and $5+ tax for member couples. For the couples that need a place for their kids while they learn to dance, drop them off at the Science Museum Lock-In! This includes one planetarium show and 30 minutes in the Science Museum for a total of one hour of science fun. The cost is $5+ tax per child. Prior registration is required.
