National Travel & Tourism Week (NTTW)

Observed nationwide May 3–9, NTTW is an annual tradition that highlights the essential role travel plays in driving economic growth, creating jobs, and enhancing the quality of life in communities across the country. According to the U.S. Travel Association, travel is not just about destinations. It fuels local economies, supports small businesses, and connects people and cultures in meaningful ways.

Here in Albany, we see that impact every day.

From our hotels and attractions to our restaurants and community partners, tourism plays a vital role in our local economy. It brings visitors to our city, supports our workforce, and helps tell the story of Albany in a way that reaches far beyond our region.
