About Us

The Legacy Wellness Center is a community-centered health and wellness hub located in Albany, Georgia’s historic Harlem District. As the first major development of the Harlem Renaissance Project’s three-phase vision, the Center offers affordable, accessible, and integrated care through primary medical services, dental care, behavioral health, research initiatives, wellness programming, and prescription assistance support. With new facilities, trusted local providers, and deep community ties, the Center serves as a welcoming healthcare home for individuals, families, seniors, students, and institutions. As a community-based ambulatory clinic, the Legacy Wellness Center provides coordinated care, same-day appointments, and walk-in access when possible, helping reduce delays in care and improve access across the community.
