Our goal is to use best practice strategies, engaging lessons, and progress monitoring to challenge each student's potential for academic growth.

Academics-1st is a Georgia based business that offers homework assistance or extended learning sessions to PreK-12th grade students. Academics-1st was founded by Michelle Trice after more than 16 years of experience working in a public school system. In 2005, Mrs. Trice earned a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Albany State University (Albany, Georgia). In 2008, she earned a Master's of Art Degree in Reading Elementary from Nova Southeastern University (Ft. Lauderdale, Florida).
